"Quest for Truth: The Legacy of St. Thomas Aquinas"

the Jubilee Conference on the 800^th Birth Anniversary of St. Thomas Aquinas

Fu Jen Academia Catholica is pleased to announce the 15^th Fu Jen Academia Catholica International Conference, titled "Quest for Truth: The Legacy of St. Thomas Aquinas," in celebration of the 800th birth anniversary of St. Thomas Aquinas. The conference will take place from June 11-13, 2025, and seeks to explore the enduring influence of Aquinas on philosophy, theology, and intellectual traditions across disciplines. Scholars, researchers, and students are invited to submit papers that engage with Aquinas's thought, its historical significance, and its relevance in contemporary discourse.

Themes of Interest

We welcome contributions on a range of topics, including but not limited to:

l Aquinas’s metaphysics and epistemology
l The synthesis of faith and reason
l Thomistic ethics and virtue theory
l Aquinas's political thought and the common good
l The legacy of Thomistic thought in contemporary philosophy and theology
l Comparative studies of Aquinas with other philosophical traditions

Submission Guidelines

Submissions are invited for individual papers, which will be organized into thematic panels. Proposals should include the following:

1. Title of the Paper
2. Abstract (no more than 300 words) outlining the central argument and contribution of the paper.
3. Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing relevant academic qualifications, publications, and affiliations.
